What’s Hot for the Holidays: 2017 Edition

December is here! And we are now in the home stretch for the Holiday Season. How’s your holiday shopping going? Each year at Next Level Performance, we see large spikes in redemptions by incentive and engagement program participants on our Rewards Mall, and 2017 is shaping up to be no different. With over 40,000 merchandise items to choose from, we truly have something for everyone, from home and fashion items, to gift cards and event tickets. As with every year, there are some key brands and categories that stand out, and we’d like to share some of the most popular items with you to keep you up-to-date on the latest this season!

• Virtual Assistants such as the Amazon Echo and Google Home continue to be some of the hottest gifts for this season.
• Bose recently released their latest Bluetooth Speaker - the Soundlink Revolve - which delivers true 360-degree sound, and a new model of their QuietComfort wireless headphones.
• As more and more consumers are “cutting the cord” from cable companies, streaming devices are in high demand. The new model of the Google Chromecast, Roku Stream Stick, and Amazon Fire TV Stick are growing in popularity. Many are now supporting Ultra 4K broadcasting (the new high-resolution television format). And even though many consumers are moving away from traditional cable, there is still a need to record and playback their favorite TV shows and movies. Tivo has released new recording models that are compatible with both live TV and streaming devices.
• Another category where we are seeing peaked interest is in Smart Home Security devices. Video Doorbells and Outdoor Cameras from brands such as Ring can connect right to your smartphone to give you peace of mind no matter where you are.
• Overall, and not surprisingly, our top redeeming brand continues to be Apple.
